the little bang

This blog is a continuing stream of consciousness which keeps me amused, out of trouble, or at least minimally awake and is user friendly, cost effective, and may occasionally make one smile for no particular rhyme or reason.

Lines that I like from favorite Christmas movies:
1. A Christmas Carol
Scrooge talking to his dead partner Marley who he thinks may just be indigestion. "There's more gravy than grave about you, Marley".
2. A Christmas Story
Santa to Ralphie after requesting a Red Ryder BB gun and just before getting the boot down the slide. "You'll shoot your eye out, kid".
3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Clark Griswold after unexpectantly seeing his brother on his lawn. "If I were to wakeup tomorrow morning with my head sewn to the carpet, I couldn't be more surprised than I am right now."
4. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
Narrator. "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch".
5. A Chrismas Story (Second Line)
Narrator. "My father wove a tapestry of profanities that to this day is still hovering somewhere over Lake Michigan".
6. A Christmas Story (Third Line)
One boy coaxing a second boy to put his tongue on a frozen steel light post. "I triple dog dare you".
