The Chicago Cubs clinch the National League Central Divsion! I was rooting for either the Cubs or the St. Louis Cardinals to win. It was a close race between them and the Houston Astros, but the Cubbies won both games of a double-header against the Pirates today to make it into the playoffs. It's just too bad that the White Sox faded the last two weeks in the American League. People could have dreamed of a possible subway World Series. Unfortunately, I think the Cubs play the Atlanta Braves in the first part of the playoffs. Probably only the Yankees are a better team than the Braves. It's going to be a tough start. Go Cubbies!
