the little bang

This blog is a continuing stream of consciousness which keeps me amused, out of trouble, or at least minimally awake and is user friendly, cost effective, and may occasionally make one smile for no particular rhyme or reason.

I saw the Cubs play the Cardinals yesterday in Busch Stadium. The Cubs lost 1-0 in the tenth, quite a pitcher's duel. It's a shame that they're tearing down the park. It's a great place to see a game. The new one will have an open outfield so that you can see the skyline. The St. Louis arch will probably be in view. I'm sure that it will be nice, but I don't know if it will be an improvement. Kind of like Wrigley field, it would be hard to make it better except for removing the poles that obstruct views. Oh well, time moves on.
