It's the second anniversary of 'the little bang' blog. Time just flies. It seems mere weeks ago that it was the first anniversary and it seems like only a few years since I was at the University of Illinois. That's probably a good thing. If the years feel like decades, then they were probably tough years. I read a book recently that was set during the Depression leading up to World War II. I don't think that those years would have seemed to pass quickly. Not when every single day was a struggle to most people. No TV, no air conditioning, no jobs, little food, poor health care, and very little hope; that had to be a brutal time. We're lucky to be living in the world today, even with all the current problems.
