I watched "The Station Agent" last night.  It's about a dwarf who moves to Newfoundland and the people that he encounters.  He meets another man and woman, and the three of them slowy form the bonds of friendship.  First they have to overcome some personal struggles and discover the boundaries of their relationships.  It was funny in spots and thought provoking in others.  Definitely a welcome relief from all the special effects movies out this summer.
