I just re-read my previous Blog from last Tuesday. I think that I need to be more tolerant of people. Sue may have been justifiably upset by what happened during the reward challenge on "Survivor". Who knows what kind of childhood she may have had that might have shaped her into the person she is today. Also, she's worked as a woman truck driver for much of her life. That has to be a tough occupation for a woman, because teamsters aren't known for their compassion. My guess is that Sue has not lived an easy life or she wouldn't have been so overwhelmed by yet another humiliation.

I finished seeing "The Passion of the Christ" over the weekend. I missed the ending because of a power outage a few weeks ago. There's a part that I like where Jesus is preaching to a group. He says that "People love those who love them, but that they should also love those who are enemies. If you only love those who love you, where is the reward in that?" I'm paraphrasing because I don't remember the exact wording, but it's the idea that counts most. I still think that someone should make a film just based on his teachings. Many of the things that Jesus said are so obvious and yet so few people follow them. Even if one doesn't believe in his divine birth or his resurrection when he died, and I do by the way, his teachings are so pure that no one can deny their wisdom.
