I read the news today, oh boy. They found 160,000 year-old skulls in Africa. They now believe that all human life may have begun in Africa and spread out to other continents. They were not evolved from Neanderthals previously found in Europe. It's hard to believe that humans have walked the Earth for that many years. It's even harder to believe that we'll be here for another 160,000 years. I wonder if Elvis will still be famous.

I wonder if people in the year 162,003 will have to write June 12, 162003 on their checks. That will be inconvenient. Of course, by then all the trees will be gone and we'll have a paperless society. Won't that be fun in the bathroom. I also wonder if the year 10,000 and 100,000 will cause as many computer problems as the year 2000. Probably not. The 2,048th clone of Bill Gates will take care of it. Maybe by the year 100,000, all the cyborgs and robots will have enslaved the humans. Or perhaps, it will be like the Time Machine where humans are kept around for food like cattle to feed the underground master race. I wouldn't want to be a hamburger on the hoof. I remember a friend who once said that she felt like a hamburger. I told her "That's funny, you don't look like a hamburger". I relish that story.
