I've been getting into genealogy the last few years. With the Net it's remarkable how much information you can find. There are bulletin boards which help you meet distant family members. I've found a few distant cousins who have a lot of family information including pictures from way back. So far, I've traced the Maze family to before the American revolution. It's too bad that you can't go back thousands of years like in the Bible or even further before there was written word. It's kind of interesting to think that there is a chain of people going back 10 or 15 thousand years that you are linked too. Maybe longer.
