I saw two movies over the weekend. The first was "Undisputed" with Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames. It reaffirmed my belief that there has never been a good movie with a setting in prison. I didn't even like the Shawshank Redemption which was liked by a lot of people. I guess the thought of prison life just depresses me.
In this movie even the fight scenes bored me. Considering that the whole movie leads up to the big fight between the Heavyweight Champ and the inhouse boxing champ, a boring ending fight between two characters that are both unlikeable ruins the movie. This is definitely not "Rocky".

The second movie I saw was "Serving Sara" starring Elizabeth Hurley and the guy that plays Chandler on Friends. Number of Friends - Six. Number of good movies with actors from Friends - One. I did like Lisa Kudrow in "Romy & Michele's High School Reunion", although Mira Sorvino was better. The whole premise of "Serving Sara" was that Sara was trying to cheat the system by having her husband served with divorce papers even though she had already been served. She would get a better deal in New York than her husband would in Texas. I guess that is supposed to be ok, since she looks good in a short skirt.
